First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study will test whether adding a gamified metaverse experience to standard patient safety training helps nursing students learn and remember more. About 60 second-year nursing students will be split into two groups: one gets only traditional lectures, the other also plays in a virtual world for two weeks. Researchers will measure their knowledge and confidence right after training and again one month later to see if the metaverse group retains more.
