Summary

This study tested a smartphone app that uses games, therapy, and rewards to help people with methamphetamine addiction reduce their cravings. 360 adults in community rehab programs used the app or received standard care for 8 weeks. The goal was to see if the app could lower cue-induced cravings more than usual treatment.
