Turning pills into points: can a game help people stick to their meds?
NCT ID NCT06972979
Summary
This study is testing if a game-like smartphone app, combined with remote nurse support, can help people take their cholesterol-lowering statin pills more regularly. It will involve 2,200 adults who have been prescribed statins but sometimes miss doses. The goal is to see if this digital approach improves daily medication habits better than usual care.
