Can video games train midwives to save mothers?
NCT ID NCT07207590
Summary
This study aims to see if a web-based game helps midwifery students learn and remember how to manage postpartum hemorrhage (severe bleeding after childbirth), a major cause of preventable maternal death. Researchers will compare the game-based learning to traditional classroom methods with 150 student participants. The goal is to find more effective and engaging ways to train future midwives on this critical skill.
