Beat the pain: rhythm exercises could help gamers level up their shoulder health
NCT ID NCT07387835
Summary
This study is testing a 4-week exercise program designed to help video gamers who have poor shoulder blade control, a condition known as scapular dyskinesis. Researchers will enroll 42 healthy gamers to see if performing specific rhythm-based stabilization exercises on stable and unstable surfaces improves shoulder stability, reduces pain, and enhances arm function. The goal is to find a practical way to ease discomfort and improve performance for people who spend long hours gaming.
