Surgery prep goes digital: can a game train nurses better?
NCT ID NCT07194148
Summary
This study is testing whether a new video game-based training tool helps nursing students learn how to set up surgical instruments for hip replacement surgery more accurately than traditional classroom training. Sixty nursing students will be randomly assigned to learn using the digital game or the standard lecture method. The main goal is to see which group does a better job placing the correct instruments in the right order on the surgical table.
