Doctors use video game magic to calm kids before surgery
NCT ID NCT07149727
Summary
This study tested if an immersive game experience could help children feel less anxious and be more cooperative before having an extra tooth removed. Researchers compared 40 children who received standard care to those who also played special role-playing and interactive games with a parent. They measured the children's fear, stress levels, and how well they followed instructions during the procedure.
