Can video games teach paramedics to save lives in a disaster?
NCT ID NCT07416305
Summary
This study aims to find out if learning through a game is better than a traditional classroom for teaching paramedic students how to sort patients by urgency during a disaster. Researchers will train 60 first-year paramedic students, with one group using a game and the other using standard lectures. They will test the students' knowledge and skills right after training and again three months later to see which method leads to better, longer-lasting learning.
