Escape room boosts nursing Students' pressure ulcer knowledge

NCT ID NCT07563348

First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether playing an escape room game helps nursing students learn more about pressure ulcers compared to traditional lectures. 56 senior nursing students were split into two groups: one played the game after a lecture, the other only had the lecture. Their knowledge was tested right after and one month later. The goal was to see if the game-based method improves learning and retention.
