Can ear stickers and positive talk help beat gambling addiction?
NCT ID NCT05241041
Summary
This study tested whether two non-drug treatments could help people with gambling problems. Researchers in South Korea studied 198 people, including gamblers and non-gamblers. They compared ear acupressure (using small stickers), group counseling focused on positive psychology, and standard educational materials to see which best reduced gambling urges and severity over one year.
