First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether adding a four-cell galvanic bath therapy to standard rehabilitation could reduce pain and improve balance in people with diabetic nerve damage. 66 adults with type 2 diabetes and diabetic neuropathy participated. Over 4 weeks, some received the bath therapy plus rehab, while others had rehab alone. The results will show if this bath therapy is a helpful supportive treatment.
