First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether adding a four-cell galvanic bath therapy to standard rehab could reduce pain and improve balance in people with diabetic nerve damage. 66 adults with type 2 diabetes and nerve pain in their feet took part. Over 4 weeks, some got the bath therapy plus rehab, while others got rehab alone. The goal was to see if the electric bath treatment offers extra relief.
