Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for removing bile duct stones during gallbladder removal surgery. Researchers will follow 340 Norwegian patients to see which method works better at clearing stones while minimizing complications and hospital costs. The study focuses on whether a single-operation approach using specialized laparoscopic techniques is as effective and safe as the more common two-procedure approach.
