Ancient flower extract tested as new hope for stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT07003386

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called galantamine, made from a traditional Chinese medicinal plant, can help people recover better after an ischemic stroke. Researchers want to see if it improves brain blood flow, reduces inflammation, and helps with movement, thinking, and daily activities. The trial will involve 66 adults who recently had a stroke, comparing the drug plus standard care against standard care alone.
