NCT ID NCT07509918

First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study aims to see if a new gel can help children aged 8-10 years gag less during dental X-rays. Researchers will compare a gel containing tannic acid and zinc acetate to the standard lidocaine gel. They will measure how much the gag reflex is reduced and check the child's pulse rate to see which gel works better and is more comfortable.
