Scientists track MRI dye in body for 5 years to see if it affects thinking

Summary

This study aims to understand if receiving a common MRI contrast dye (gadolinium) multiple times over five years affects a person's movement and mental skills. It will follow about 2,076 adults who are already scheduled for regular MRI scans for their health conditions. Researchers will compare people who receive the dye to those who don't, tracking their brain function with annual tests.
