Summary

This study tested a single dose of an experimental drug called gaboxadol in 10 adult men with Fragile X Syndrome, a genetic condition. Researchers wanted to see if the drug changed brain wave patterns and affected certain behaviors or thinking skills. Participants received the drug or a placebo during both home and clinic visits to compare settings.
