Summary

This study looked at whether adding a drug called G-CSF to the usual treatment (ATG and cyclosporin) helps people with newly diagnosed severe aplastic anemia live longer and have fewer infections. The trial enrolled 205 patients and was stopped early. The goal was to see if the extra drug improves blood cell recovery and reduces the need for more treatments.
