New drug trial aims to slow vision loss from dry AMD

Summary
This study tests a drug called FWY003 in people with geographic atrophy, a late stage of dry age-related macular degeneration that causes blind spots. About 272 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo to see if it can slow the growth of damaged areas in the eye. The goal is to find the best dose and check for side effects.
