Summary
This study compared two oral antifungal medicines to see which works better to cure ringworm of the scalp in children. It involved 164 kids aged 1 to 13 who had the infection for over a month. Researchers tested a pulsed schedule of itraconazole against a continuous course of terbinafine to see which cleared the fungus more effectively.
