New hope for fighting deadly fungus in cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07185503
Summary
This study is testing whether combining two antifungal drugs works better than current treatments for a severe fungal infection called mucormycosis in adults with blood cancers like leukemia. About 60 participants will receive the drug combination and be closely monitored to see if their infection clears and how well they survive. The goal is to find a more effective treatment strategy for this dangerous complication.
