New hope for kids fighting cancer and dangerous fungal infections
NCT ID NCT07357038
Summary
This study is watching how well and how safely a medication called L-AmB works to treat serious fungal infections in children and teenagers with blood cancers. These patients are already taking other drugs to prevent such infections, but the infections have broken through. Researchers will observe if the treatment works as well for young patients as it does for adults and if it is safer for their kidneys.
