First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study explores whether a special type of MRI can give doctors a clearer picture of kidney health in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Researchers will scan about 486 adults with mild to moderate CKD and compare the MRI results with standard tests and kidney biopsies. The goal is to see if this MRI can predict which patients will get worse and help guide treatment decisions.
