Smart radiation aims to shield working lungs during cancer treatment

Summary
This study tests a new way to give radiation for lung cancer. Doctors will use a special scan to see which parts of the lung are working best, then aim the radiation away from those areas. The goal is to reduce lung damage and side effects like breathing problems. About 100 adults with lung cancer will take part and be followed for one year.
