First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compares two methods of lifting the soft palate during throat surgery to see which causes fewer injuries. About 138 people aged 2 to 70 who need surgery for conditions like enlarged tonsils or tumors will be randomly assigned to either the new full-wrap suspension or the traditional method. The goal is to find a safer way to perform these surgeries.
