Summary
This study tests two types of ultrasonic dental scalers (piezoelectric vs. magnetostrictive) for treating gum disease. 52 adults with early-stage periodontitis will receive a full-mouth cleaning and report their experience with pain, noise, and vibration. The goal is to see which device is more comfortable and effective.
