New combo therapy aims to control brain tumors in lung cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07058428

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug bevacizumab to a precise type of radiation therapy (fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy) can better control multiple brain tumors that have spread from lung adenocarcinoma. About 258 adults with 1 to 20 brain metastases will take part. The goal is to see if the combination delays brain tumor growth and reduces side effects compared to radiation alone.
