Summary

This study tested different ways to help people eat more fruits and vegetables. Researchers gave 42 adults who ate less than two servings a day either standard '5-a-day' advice, advice that included fruit juice, or no specific advice. All groups received weekly shopping vouchers and educational materials for four weeks. The goal was to see which method worked best to increase intake and if it improved markers of metabolic health, like blood sugar and cholesterol.
