New procedure targets stubborn frozen shoulder pain

NCT ID NCT07336849

Summary

This study is testing a minimally invasive procedure called transcatheter arterial embolization for people with frozen shoulder that hasn't gotten better with standard treatments like physical therapy or medication. Researchers will compare this procedure to standard care in 44 participants to see if it safely reduces pain and improves shoulder movement. They'll track pain levels, shoulder function, and patient satisfaction for six months after the procedure.
