First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding hyaluronic acid (HA) to a ketorolac injection works better than ketorolac alone for frozen shoulder. Fifty-six adults with shoulder stiffness received one injection and were followed for 24 weeks. Both treatments safely improved pain and function, but the combination offered small extra gains in shoulder rotation and adduction.
