Summary

This study compared a special tissue graft called ActiveMatrix to the usual steroid injection for treating frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis). Fifty-six adults with frozen shoulder took part. The goal was to see if the graft is safer and better at reducing pain and improving shoulder movement.
