Sugar injection trial offers new hope for frozen shoulder sufferers
NCT ID NCT07134010
Summary
This study is testing whether a natural sugar solution injection called Perineural Injection Therapy (PIT) works better than standard treatment for frozen shoulder. Researchers will compare PIT plus physical therapy against physical therapy alone in 24 adults with chronic frozen shoulder. Participants will receive treatment for 6 weeks and be followed for 3 months to see if the injections reduce pain and improve shoulder movement more effectively.
