New study tests gentle mobilization vs stretching for frozen shoulder relief
NCT ID NCT07576127
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compares two physical therapy methods—Gong's mobilization and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF)—for treating frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis). It includes 44 women aged 40-60 with unilateral frozen shoulder. Over 4 weeks, participants receive one of the techniques plus standard therapy, and researchers measure pain, range of motion, and daily function. The goal is to see which approach works better for easing symptoms.
