First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether frozen platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections can reduce pain and improve knee function in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 60 adults aged 40-85 with mild to moderate knee arthritis will receive either frozen PRP or fresh PRP injections. The goal is to see if the frozen version works as well as the fresh one, making treatment more convenient.
