Frozen blood plasma shots tested for aching knees

NCT ID NCT07329361

Summary

This study is testing whether platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections stored frozen work as well as fresh PRP injections for knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will compare pain relief and knee function in 60 adults with moderate knee arthritis. The goal is to see if freezing PRP makes it more practical for clinics to use while still helping patients.
