First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether special glasses with Fresnel prisms can help people who have lost half their vision (homonymous hemianopia) see more of their surroundings. Twenty-five adults with this condition wore the prisms to see if their side vision improved and if the glasses were comfortable. The goal was to make daily activities safer and easier.
