Scientists put french stroke assessment tool to the test
NCT ID NCT07419087
Summary
This study aims to create and test a French version of a tool called the Trunk Impairment Scale (TIS), which measures sitting balance and trunk control in people who have had a stroke. Researchers will translate the tool and then have therapists use it on about 67 stroke survivors to check if it is consistent and measures what it's supposed to. The goal is to provide French-speaking clinicians with a reliable way to assess a key part of stroke recovery.
