NCT ID NCT06772701

First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study checks if a common depression questionnaire, the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS), works well for new fathers in France. Researchers will ask 1,000 fathers to fill out the EPDS and other surveys online shortly after their baby is born and again 6-8 weeks later. The goal is to make sure the EPDS can accurately detect postnatal depression in men, so they can get help early.
