NCT ID NCT04117620
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study tested a French version of a questionnaire that measures dizziness symptoms in children aged 7 to 17. Researchers asked 85 kids with and without balance issues to fill out the survey twice, two weeks apart. The goal was to see if the translated questionnaire is reliable and accurate for use in French-speaking clinics.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a reliable tool for French-speaking doctors to evaluate dizziness in children, leading to better diagnosis and treatment.
What could go wrong
This is a small, completed validation study, not a treatment trial. The questionnaire may not capture all symptoms or work in other settings.
