Freezing tumors: a gentler option for elderly breast cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07398118

Summary

This study is testing a less invasive treatment for early-stage breast cancer in adults aged 70 and older. Instead of surgery or long-term hormone therapy, doctors will use a freezing technique called cryoablation to destroy the small tumor. The goal is to see if this approach is safe, practical, and can reduce the burden of treatment for older patients.
