Summary
This study tested if giving free farm labor vouchers to pregnant women and new mothers in Malawi could improve their situation. Nearly 1,000 women across 75 farming districts were involved, with half receiving the labor help. Researchers measured if this support led to better farm harvests, improved health for mothers and babies, and stronger social connections.
