Four-Minute test could predict which seniors face surgery complications
NCT ID NCT07452263
Summary
This study is testing a simple, 4-minute frailty screening tool to predict which older adults (age 70+) are at higher risk for complications and hospital readmissions after major elective surgery. The tool checks four areas: mobility, thinking skills, nutrition, and anemia. If successful, it could help doctors better prepare high-risk patients before their operations.
