Can a simple 12-Week plan help hospitalized seniors regain strength?
NCT ID NCT07429630
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week program of nutritional drinks and supervised strength exercises could help frail, hospitalized older adults get stronger and more mobile. About 120 participants received the daily program, and researchers measured their physical function, nutrition, and frailty levels before and after. The goal was to see who benefits most from this combined approach to managing frailty.
