First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 12-week program of daily nutrition drinks and supervised resistance exercises could improve strength and mobility in frail older adults while they were in the hospital. About 120 participants took part, all receiving the same program. The goal was to see if their physical function and frailty levels improved, and what factors might predict who benefits most.
