First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares frailty, physical fitness, and levels of a muscle-related hormone called irisin between people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and healthy volunteers aged 18 to 65. Researchers will measure balance, walking ability, hand strength, and blood irisin levels to see how they differ between the groups. The goal is to better understand frailty in MS and help design better rehabilitation programs. No new treatments are being tested.
