First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This early study tested the safety of a new medical device called Fractomer Biomatrix in just 2 healthy volunteers. Participants received a small injection under the skin, and researchers monitored for any side effects like fever, blood changes, or irritation. After the monitoring period, the implant was removed. The goal was simply to see if the implant is safe, not to treat any disease.
