First humans test new 'Injectable Scaffold' for future tissue repair
NCT ID NCT07151638
Summary
This was a very early safety study to see how healthy people's bodies react to a new injectable implant material called Fractomer Biomatrix. Two healthy volunteers received a small injection under the skin of their abdomen. Doctors closely monitored their health for signs of fever, infection, or local irritation, and then surgically removed the implant after several weeks to examine how the body responded to it.
