New math program aims to boost fraction skills in 4th graders

This study looks at whether a special fraction teaching program helps 4th-grade students, including those with math learning difficulties, improve their fraction skills. About 2,210 students will take part, with some teachers using the program and others teaching normally. The goal is to see if the program makes a difference in how well students understand and work with fractions.
