Summary

This study looks for the most effective dose of fospropofol, a sedative, to keep elderly patients (65 and older) comfortable during leg surgery while they are awake from spinal anesthesia. About 60 participants will receive different doses to find the right balance. The goal is to improve sedation without causing side effects, not to treat a disease.
