New drug battles deadly, untreatable mold infections
NCT ID NCT06925321
Summary
This study is testing a new drug called fosmanogepix for adults with severe, invasive mold infections that are often resistant to other treatments. It will compare the new drug to standard antifungal care for some patients and use it as a rescue therapy for others who haven't responded to previous treatments. The main goal is to see if the drug reduces deaths by day 42 of treatment.
