New cancer pill targets genetic weakness in advanced tumors

Summary
This is a first-in-human study to test a new oral drug called FORX-428 in adults with advanced solid tumors that have specific genetic mutations, like BRCA1/2. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see how the body processes the drug. The study will enroll about 40 people whose cancer has progressed after at least one prior standard treatment.
