Can a simple nutrient boost help India's tiniest babies thrive?
NCT ID NCT06765863
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special nutrient powder to breast milk helps very small or premature babies in hospital grow better and get sick less often. About 776 babies in India will be randomly assigned to receive either regular breast milk or breast milk with the added nutrients. Researchers will track the babies' growth, health, and survival for three months to see if the fortified milk makes a difference.
